Fundamentals of Heat Transfer
This product is used in conjunction with a basic heat transfer experimental bench to study the transient heat transfer process of metallic materials with specific shapes, as well as the internal center temperature distribution and variation over time, as covered in Heat Transfer courses.
The standard configuration includes eight specimens: four shapes (flat plate, sphere, thick cylinder, and thin cylinder) made of two materials (brass and stainless steel). Each specimen is embedded with a high-precision thermocouple at its center, allowing real-time measurement of transient center temperature changes for different solid materials.
By applying transient temperature data combined with the lumped parameter method, the thermal conductivity of the specimens can be calculated. The system helps users deeply understand the principles of unsteady heat conduction and typical theoretical analysis methods. Customization of specimens, experimental design, and extended applications are supported.

Experimental Functions
1.Study the transient heat transfer process from the surface to the center of specimens and analyze temperature variation over time.
2.Calculate the thermal conductivity of cylindrical specimens based on center temperature variation.
3.Analyze the effects of shape, size, and material on transient heat transfer (same material with different shapes; same geometry with different materials; same material with different equivalent geometries).
4.Understand and study the lumped capacitance method in transient heat transfer problems.
5.Support extended experiments and experimental design related to transient heat conduction in solids.
