Product Description

This product is used in conjunction with a basic heat transfer experimental bench for experiments involving the analysis and calculation of one-dimensional steady-state heat conduction in liquids and gases, as covered in Heat Transfer courses.

 

The apparatus is designed as a one-dimensional steady-state radial heat conduction model, consisting of a heating module, sample jacket, and cooling unit. The main body is a jacketed heat exchanger: an electric heating element is located at the center, while constant-temperature cooling water flows through the outer jacket. The space between the walls is filled with the liquid or gas to be tested.

 

The module can be used to measure the thermal conductivity of non-corrosive liquids (such as alcohol and glycerin) and non-flammable gases (such as air and nitrogen). It is compact and portable, with an intuitive theoretical model, making it convenient for teaching and experimental analysis.
