This product is used in conjunction with a basic heat transfer experimental bench to study the heat transfer process of rod-shaped materials under the combined effects of natural convection and radiation, as well as the temperature distribution under steady-state conditions, as covered in Heat Transfer courses.
Based on the cylindrical fin conduction model, the system enables comprehensive calculation of the thermal conductivity of rod-shaped metal materials. It represents a typical integrated application case in the field of heat transfer.
This apparatus helps deepen the understanding of excess (relative) temperature and verifies numerical solution methods for second-order nonhomogeneous differential equations in heat conduction analysis. It also familiarizes users with iterative numerical computation techniques.
