This product is used in conjunction with a basic heat transfer experimental bench to verify and experimentally study the principles and laws of combined heat transfer involving convection (natural and forced convection) and radiation, as covered in Heat Transfer courses.
The experimental platform is configured with a quasi-blackbody thermal radiation heating cylindrical tube. Based on the external flow over a cylinder theoretical model, the system enables comprehensive experiments on convection and radiation by incorporating an air flow channel, fan, airflow speed control device, and electric heating regulation. Experimental data is collected through the basic heat transfer experimental platform, supporting course-related experimental design.
Experimental Functions

Study the temperature distribution at different positions on the surface of a cylinder under external airflow conditions (natural convection / forced convection).

Measure the total heat transfer of a quasi-blackbody cylinder (radiation QR+ convection QC) under natural convection at different power inputs, and compare with surface temperature variations.

Measure the convective heat transfer coefficient when the cylinder surface temperature is relatively low.

Measure the radiative heat transfer coefficient when the cylinder surface temperature is relatively high.

Observe and measure the effect of forced convection on heat transfer from the cylinder surface under different wind speeds.

Study the variation of local heat transfer coefficient along the cylinder surface under different wind speeds.
