Fundamentals of Fluid Mechanics
This apparatus is primarily used to study pulsation and water hammer phenomena in pipelines, as well as their causes and effects. The device contains two experimental pipelines, one for pulsation studies and the other for water hammer experiments. Both pipelines are made of transparent plastic, allowing clear observation of the experimental phenomena.
A main tank supplies water to both experimental pipelines. The tank is equipped with an internal float valve and an overflow valve, providing realistic engineering practice conditions.
