Product Description
This apparatus is primarily used to study the impact forces and momentum changes of water jets or columns on various shapes of flat and inclined plates. It provides a foundation for deeper understanding and research of applications such as the working principles of cup-type water turbines.
The main body of the device is a transparent cylindrical glass container, equipped with vertically arranged conical nozzles and test plates. The nozzles are connected to the Basic Fluid Mechanics Experimental Bench to generate high-speed jets, while the test plates are connected to a dedicated force measurement device to measure the impact forces produced by the jets.
The bottom of the container includes a drain pipe that returns water to the experimental bench for circulation. All test plates are designed for quick installation and removal without the need for special tools.
