Product Description

This apparatus is mainly used to demonstrate and study the working principles of several types of flowmeters, such as the Venturi flowmeter, orifice plate flowmeter, and rotor flowmeter, as well as the application of the Bernoulli equation in these flowmeters.

 

The main body of the apparatus consists of a horizontal pipeline equipped with valves, an orifice plate, a Venturi flowmeter, and pressure taps. In addition, a bent pipe connects to the rotor flowmeter, and all pressure taps are connected to a multi-tube manometer mounted on the back panel.

 

During experiments, the apparatus needs to be connected to the H100 Basic Fluid Mechanics Experimental Bench. The main pipeline and flowmeters are made of fully transparent materials, allowing observation of the fluid flow. The apparatus clearly demonstrates the pressure distribution along the pipeline for each type of flowmeter and facilitates analysis of pressure losses.
