Product Description

This product is designed to work with a basic thermodynamics experimental bench and is used to conduct theoretical analysis and experimental research related to the Ideal Gas Law (also known as the Ideal Gas Equation of State, PV = nRT) in Engineering Thermodynamics.

The system consists of two transparent containers, a constant-pressure pump, temperature and pressure acquisition modules, and a control valve set. Through coordinated operation of the pump and valves, experiments can be performed to verify the First Law of Thermodynamics and the Ideal Gas Law.

Using integrated sensors, the apparatus enables the measurement of the specific heat ratio of air. It also supports thermodynamic processes such as isothermal expansion and constant-volume heating. Experimental data is collected via the thermodynamics basic experimental platform. The system features an intuitive working principle and convenient operation.

Experimental Functions

Understand the First Law of Thermodynamics, the Ideal Gas Equation of State, and thermodynamic processes including adiabatic, isothermal, and constant-volume processes.

Master the derivation and measurement of the specific heat ratio (heat capacity ratio) of air.

Study isothermal processes, quantitatively analyze the relationship between pressure and volume of a gas, and verify Boyle’s Law.
