Product Description
This product is designed to be used in conjunction with the Basic Aerodynamics Experimental Bench. It is intended for studying the flow characteristics associated with the Coandă effect (wall attachment effect) in aerodynamics.
The module features a semi-transparent rectangular flow channel, which is connected to the aerodynamics bench via an outlet connector. Inside the channel is a Y-shaped dual-wall flow path, with an adjustable opening size and a centrally positioned splitter plate. The axial position, angle, and offset distance of the splitter plate can be adjusted and read via scale markings.
This setup enables investigation of two-dimensional airflow behavior and the Coandă effect, where a fluid jet attaches itself to a nearby surface during flow.
