Product Description

This product is designed to be used in conjunction with the Basic Aerodynamics Experimental Bench and the Multi-Tube Manometer Experimental Module. It is intended for studying the flow characteristics of airflow inside a circular pipe, with a focus on turbulent flow behavior.

 

The module consists of a metal circular pipe, with a sharp-edged outlet inside the straight section to promote turbulent flow formation. A Pitot tube is mounted on a measuring frame and can be moved both horizontally and vertically within the pipe.

 

In combination with the multi-tube manometer, the system allows measurement of axial pressure distribution along the pipe centerline, as well as investigation of boundary layer behavior along the inner wall. It also enables plotting of velocity profiles within the pipe flow field and estimation of frictional pressure losses.

 

A central positioning device is included to facilitate accurate and repeatable measurements.
