This apparatus is specially designed for fluid mechanics teaching and practical training, allowing comprehensive experiments under three operating conditions: single centrifugal pump, series operation, and parallel operation. It combines demonstration and hands-on functionality, making it suitable for university laboratory teaching and basic research testing.
The system is equipped with two identical centrifugal pumps and a complete piping network, along with precision instruments such as pressure gauges, flowmeters, and frequency converters. Key parameters such as flow rate, head, and power can be accurately measured, and the data can be automatically recorded and queried.
Experimental Functions

Single Pump Performance Test: Measure the pump’s flow rate (Q) and head (H), and plot the pump characteristic curve (Q-H).

Series Operation Experiment: Verify that in series operation, flow rate remains constant and heads are additive, and determine the characteristic curve for series operation.

Parallel Operation Experiment: Verify that in parallel operation, head is the same and flow rates are additive, and determine the characteristic curve for parallel operation.

Pipeline Characteristic Measurement: Test pipeline resistance under different valve openings.
