This product is designed based on the film boiling theory in Heat Transfer. It integrates a heating system, a droplet lifting system, and a data acquisition and control system. The apparatus is used to study film boiling (Leidenfrost phenomenon) under different droplet heights, droplet sizes, and surface structures.

 

It enables a series of experiments based on the Leidenfrost film boiling phenomenon and can be extended to other droplet-related studies.

 

The system is equipped with an operation display screen. The main structure includes a lifting function, which saves laboratory space and prevents dust accumulation and surface scratching, thereby significantly extending the service life of the working surface.

Experimental Functions

Observe the Leidenfrost phenomenon of water droplets on different rough surfaces (smooth, sawtooth, etc.).

Study the motion direction and velocity of droplets on sawtooth plates with different materials and inclination angles.

Plot droplet lifetime curves and analyze geometric size changes over time.

With multiple experimental modules, demonstrate directional droplet motion and compare motion behaviors on different test specimens.
